DESCRIPTION
As the second largest building at UCLA, the design of the 275,000 Anderson Graduate School of Management was about breaking down the scale of the facility and knitting the building into the existing campus. It was accomplished by creating an academic complex organized along the existing campus pathways which served to reinforce them. Each of the program components: classrooms, executive education, library and administrative building was designed as an individual buildings, taking advantage of the excellent weather in Southern California.
The historic Italianate and historic campus core of Royce and Powell Halls inspired the selection of materials and finishes which were selected to blend in with the existing campus color palette.
