The program involves converting the existing exam rooms and offices to provide deep colonic cleansing for patients undergoing colonoscopies. This would be the first installation of the Hygeacare system in New York. Since this is an existing building with power and water provided to the floor from the adjacent residential Helmsley building, there are significant engineering challenges involved especially with plumbing. Feasibility has been completed and the project is currently awaiting funding.
