DESCRIPTION
Fiterman Hall, on the corner of West Broadway and Greenwich Street was heavily damaged damaged on September 11th by debris from the planes and the collapse of the neighboring 7 World Trade Center. It is part of the Borough of Manhattan Community College, a commuter school for about 25,000 students
The project includes the demolition of the debris from the former building and construction of a new 377,000 square foot fifteen-story vertical campus. The program includes classrooms for art, music and business, computer labs, offices, library, assembly rooms and a gallery. It is currently under construction.
